I'm not sure where it went, but my creative flare has been simmering for some time up to now. It may be my lack of time and or inspiration in my life. There have been easier, innocent times in the past that have sustained my wonders through the use of music, design, and even more so under the pen. I've found that once overwhelmed with the responsibilities of life, we ironically become lazy. After an 8 hour work day, after household chores and responsibilities, after feeding yourself and the kid, i want nothing more than to relax. To sit in silence or to spin my favorite tunes over the headphones feels, at that moment, better than rummaging over another lesson in ActionScript or to work on my portfolio. But it's what a man does with his leisure time rather than at work in which defines him as a man. I've got to stick with the script. I've got to keep with the plan and move forward this year. 2006 is my year. I've never felt more confident in my life. I need out of this creative rut. I need to rediscover inspiration all over again. It started with a movie......It was so beautifully presented that it struck a creative nerve once again and got the energy trickling. I hope this is the beging to something great....
